What’s just as nice as seeing Annie in the theater? Seeing it twice! Better yet, get your own copy of Annie in the Blu-Ray™ Combo Pack available March 17 and watch it every time you want to put a SMILE on your face!
To celebrate receiving my own copy of Annie, I decided to host a viewing party for my friends and family. What fun! My SuperMoms360.com website specializes in simply, super sweets that moms can make in a snap, so I came up with easy-to-make Annie themed party treats to share with my guests.
Are you RED-y to have some fun?! I was inspired by Annie’s red dress with the big bow as well as the positive messages in the movie – Dream Big, Smile, Opportunity, Family, & Hope.

For the décor and desserts, I used red & white as my theme colors and added in images and quotes from the movie. Hint: I bet you have a bunch of red & white decorations from Valentine’s Day – use them!

Annie Ice Cream Sundae Bar – Start with vanilla and strawberry ice cream and have fun adding all sorts of red & white toppings such as cherries, strawberry syrup, red & white sprinkles, whipped cream, marshmallows, and more!
Red Velvet Quotable Cupcakes – Inspire your guests with cute quotes from the movie. Make a batch of red velvet cupcakes (from a mix is fine!) and top with cream cheese frosting. On your computer, print out pictures and phrases from the movie and glue them to toothpicks to decorate your cupcakes.

Annie Oreos – Start by melting milk chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl at 70% power for 1 ½ minutes stirring every 45 seconds until smooth. Dip one half of each Berry Oreo (so cute with the red frosting in the middle!) into the melted chocolate and smooth with a knife. Add a red heart-shaped sprinkle to decorate.
Sweet & Salty Opportunity Popcorn – Pop one bag of microwave popcorn (regular or kettle corn flavor). Pour the popcorn into a large bowl. In a small microwave safe bowl, melt 1 cup white chocolate baking chips at 60% power for 1 ½ minutes stirring every 30 seconds. Drizzle over the popcorn and stir to coat. Sprinkle with dried cranberries.
Sparkling Smile Spritzers – Dip the top rim of clear plastic cups in water and then dip in red sugar sprinkles. Fill cups ¾ full with cranberry-raspberry juice and then add a splash of lemon-lime soda or sparkling water. Add a festive red and white straw if you like.
