Simple Instructions:

In a microwave safe container, melt the white chocolate baking chips or candy melts at 50-60% power, stirring every 30 seconds. Be careful not to overheat as the white chocolate can seize up. If the mixture is a little too thick, add a tablespoon of shortening and stir to desired consistency. Spoon the melted white chocolate over the top third of each Nutter Butter in a circular shape to look like a scoop of ice cream. Place flat on a baking sheet or tray covered with wax paper. Repeat for all the cookies.  Sprinkle with the rainbow nonpareils to decorate and add a red candy at the top as the “cherry.” Place in the refrigerator to set.

Makes 24
