Simple Instructions:

Make sure that jar is clean and dry.  Remove lid.  Cut circle out of red construction paper or fabric that is large enough to cover the top and sides of lid. Glue the paper to the top of the lid first and then fold and glue around the edges.  Glue eyes onto the side of the covered lid.  Add spots & wings with black marker.  Attach antennas to top with glue.  Decorate jar with ribbon, your child’s name or anything else you would like to add.  Don’t forget to poke holes in the lid if you decide to make your jar a home for real ladybugs!
