Simple Instructions:
-
Cut cardboard into a circle about 12 inches diameter with a hole in the middle about 9 inches in diameter. There should be about 3 inches thick of cardboard to glue the eggs onto. You will make both an outer and inner circle of eggs for the bottom layer.
-
Start with the outer circle , place each egg on its side and put hot glue toward the bottom of the egg. Glue each egg near the outer edge of the circle. Continue gluing eggs onto the cardboard around the outer edge until full. There may be some extra room at the end, but it will be covered by the bow.
-
Begin gluing eggs onto the inner half of the cardboard to make an inner circle of eggs.
-
Once the bottom layers are finished, glue a top layer of eggs in a random fashion.
-
Next, add Easter basket grass and use the eraser end of a pencil to push it into the gaps of your wreath.
-
Fill in to cover any cardboard that is showing.
-
Lastly, make a bow and glue it onto the wreath where the eggs do not cover.
