Food for the Fourth – Party guest pleasing recipes that are easy on your wallet

  • Independence Day Nacho Bar – Festive fun for the Fourth with blue corn tortilla chips, salsa, white cheddar cheese, sour cream & taco meat.

  • Red & Blue Berry Bowls – Display fresh fruit from the season in patriotic bowls including strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.

  • Patriotic Punch – Fill multiple pitchers with red and blue drink mix and a splash of lemon-lime soda for sparkle.

  • Star Spangled Ice Cream Sandwiches – Quite possibly the coolest (and easiest) dessert around for your summer celebration complete with seasonal sprinkles.

Family Fun - Fun, inexpensive games both kids and adults will love

  • Red, White & Blue Backyard Bowling – Fill clear recycled water bottles with tap water and use food coloring to make half of them blue and half red. Set up in traditional bowling configuration and use a soccer ball or basketball to knock ‘em down.

  • Patriotic Party Cup Stacking – Always a huge hit at parties with kids and adults.  Use red and blue plastic party cups and see who can stack the cups into a pyramid and then take apart the fastest.
