My Heart Belongs to Breakfast

A heartfelt Valentine’s Day recipe that is delicious and nutritious. Serve with heart-shaped fruit and milk or juice for a complete Valentine's Day breakfast!

What You'll Need:

  • Sliced wheat or white sandwich bread
  • Eggs (1 egg for each piece of toast)
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • Heart shaped cookie cutter

Simple Instructions:

Pre-heat skillet on stove on med-high heat.  Gently use the cookie cutter to cut out a heart shape from the center of each piece of bread.  Place bread in pan and extra heart also in pan to toast.  Crack egg and pour into center of toast where the heart was removed.  Allow egg to cook for a few minutes and then flip over and cook other side until desired doneness.
