These simple and festive Peppermint Blossoms will add a great pop of color to your dessert table this Christmas.
Ingredients:
1 Roll of pre-made sugar cookie dough (or you can make your own, if you prefer!)
1 Container of red sugar sprinkles
1 Container of green sugar sprinkles
1 Package of peppermint Hershey's Kisses
Directions:
Preheat your oven according to the directions on the package. Slice the pre-made sugar cookie dough and roll each slice into a ball. Coat each cookie dough ball in the red or green sugar sprinkles; it's easiest if you pour some sprinkles into a shallow bowl and simply roll the dough balls in them until they are covered. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake according to the directions on the package. Unwrap the peppermint Hershey's Kisses while the cookies are baking. As soon as the cookies are done, press a peppermint Kiss into the center of each cookie while they are still hot.
