White Meat Lovers Rejoice – KFC Popcorn Nuggets are Here!

I’ll admit it. I’m a white meat chicken snob. My kids have always been chicken nugget fans, but I was hesitant to serve them very often because of the “mystery ingredients” in most brands. When I heard that KFC Popcorn Nuggets were made with 100% white meat…I decided it was time for a nugget-vention.

First stop on my mission, taking my son to KFC for our weekly lunch date. Dylan fancies himself a nugget aficionado. In fact, I think he plans to be a food critic when he grows up. If anyone would give me their honest opinion, it was Dylan! After his first bite he said, “Mom…these KFC Popcorn Nuggets are EPIC! They are super crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside!” I practically had to beg him to let me try one or two myself.

My husband happens to also be a chicken nugget fan (although he probably wouldn’t admit it to his adult friends), so Dylan and I decided to bring some KFC Popcorn Nuggets home to him as well. He proceeded to devour almost the entire box in about 10 minutes flat, but I was lucky enough to swipe a few for myself before they were gone.  I am a big salad lover and I decided to add the KFC Popcorn Nuggets to my big bowl of greens and veggies to make a delicious crispy chicken salad…yum!

Seriously…if you have nugget fans in your family, it’s time to stage a nugget-vention. My son has already pleaded, “Can we please have KFC Popcorn Nuggets on our next lunch date?” Mission accomplished.
