Monster Mash Marshmallow Pops

These frightfully festive monster pops will make your Halloween party table come “alive”!

What You’ll Need:

  • 20 large marshmallows
  • 20 bamboo skewers or cookie pop sticks
  • 1 12 oz package Wilton candy melts – green
  • 40 candy eyes
  • 1 container chocolate jimmies sprinkles
  • Black food writer pen

Simple Instructions:

Place a bamboo skewer in the bottom of each marshmallow and set aside. In a microwave safe container, melt the green candy melts at 50% power for 1 ½ - 2 minutes until melted, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Dip each marshmallow into the candy melts and use a spoon to coat the entire marshmallow. A dinner knife can be used to create a smooth texture around the marshmallow and remove excess.  Pour chocolate jimmies onto a plate and dip the top of each coated marshmallow into the jimmies then sprinkle an additional amount around the sides at the top to create the monster’s hair. Apply two candy eyes.  Place marshmallow pops in a tall glass in the refrigerator to set for at least one hour. Once the chocolate is set, draw the Frankenstein stitches using the edible black food writer.
