Simple Instructions:

First, decorate your flower pot so it has time to dry.  Tear small pieces of different colors and prints of scrapbook paper and set aside. Pour a small amount of decoupage glue onto a disposable plate.  Apply a thin coat of the decoupage glue to the back of a torn piece of scrapbook paper and apply to the terra cotta pot, then brush a thin coat of the decoupage glue over the top. Repeat this process, overlapping the scrapbook paper pieces, until the entire pot is covered.  Allow to dry for a couple of hours.

Next, cut varying shapes and sizes of flowers out of the scrapbook paper and glue them together.  This is where the kids can really use their imaginations and creativity.  If you have glitter, rhinestones, or buttons, you can also use these to decorate the paper flowers.  Glue the scrapbook flowers to a bamboo stick or craft stick and allow to dry.

Once everything has dried completely, arrange the flowers in the flower pot and let the kids present it to Mom.
