iPhone/Smart Phone
This is a great costume for our tech-savvy kids. To make it, use cardboard, white or black poster board and then grab a screen shot from your phone and enlarge to fit the costume. You can laminate to make it a little more waterproof. Get directions.
Mad Scientist
This costume is great for our crazy kids to express themselves. If you have friends or family in the science or medical fields, you can borrow lab coats and accessories, otherwise you can find most components at a costume store and then add your own touches. Get directions.
LEGO®/Building Brick
This LEGO® costume is very simple – use a rectangular box and red party cups secured with a glue gun and then spray paint red or your color of choice. Get directions.
Bag of Groceries
Not only is this costume easy, but you can recycle and reuse items you already have. Simply take a brown box, cut holes for head and arms and use a glue gun to secure boxes or food a grocery items. Get directions.
UNO™/ Playing Card
Another easy one to make using poster board and you can also do a traditional playing card. Simply draw the card image freehand, and then paint over top. Punch holes in front and back and create a sandwich board. Get directions.

If you need last minute costume ideas, you can create cute costumes with things you already have around the house.
